Eleanor Blue

Pianist, Composer, and One half of acoustic duo "bluej"

Eleanor Blue is an American composer and pianist who developed an interest in music at a young age.  With a songwriting father and a very encouraging piano teacher, her passion for music was supported and fostered.  By the time Eleanor had surpassed both her father and her teacher in her abilities, she had begun exploring her style and sound; a touch of minimalism à la Phillip Glass, mixed with an amazing ear for dynamics and melody.

She has also collaborated with various local young musicians forming rock bands through a program hosted by songwriter Kyleen Downes, and performed onstage at local venues.

The six pieces from her first two releases ("Severance", released 2023, and "Fragile Faces", released 2024) were collected and remastered in addition to three new songs for her debut album "The Cycle", released November of 2025.
